Building students and robots
what is team 2659: the robowarriors?
Team 2659 is a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team located in Mission Hills, California. Beginning in 2008, our team has grown from assembling robots in a chemistry classroom to having a designated machine shop filled with automated and manual machines as well as a tech center to foster design and programming. The RoboWarriors’ success has also influenced our school to add three engineering-focused classes to its curriculum: Intro to Design, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and Robotics.
Mission Statement
Our team is committed to promoting the values of FIRST: Discovery, Innovation, Impact, Inclusion, Teamwork, and Fun. Every student member is expected to contribute positively to the team while developing technical, leadership, and life skills.
Our team has won a multitude of awards and competitions (Blue banners) since its initiation. These accomplishments are a result of our team’s hard work and dedication both inside and outside the shop.
